Meet our growing staff!

We’ve been slowly growing over the past almost three years, and thought it’s time to introduce you to the talented musician educators working with our students. We couldn’t be more grateful for such passionate and talented teaching staff!

You already know all about Jen, the owner (if not, find out more here!), but here’s a bit more about our newest member, Cecilia!

Cecilia Trode is a freelance educator and performer in the Atlanta area. She started the viola in public school in sixth grade and was teaching and working professionally by high school. She’s an Atlanta native, and attended Georgia State University where she studied Viola Performance with Tania Maxwell Clements. Shortly after that, she moved to Chicago and attended Northwestern where she received a Masters of Music in Music Theory. She has been freelancing and teaching full time in the Chicago area for the last few years, and is absolutely thrilled to have recently returned to the Atlanta area. She loves introducing children to the wonderful world of music, and celebrates the musical potential in every child. In her spare time, you can find her on a bicycle, dreaming up next week’s lesson plans. This is her first year with Buckhead Strings, and she is thrilled to be working with students at Morris Brandon Elementary.
